Kavan Vartak

Kavan Vartak graduated from Tulane Law School. While there, Mr. Vartak focused on maritime and admiralty law and received his Maritime Law Certificate upon graduation. Additionally, he was the Senior Business Editor for the Tulane Journal of Law & Sexuality in which he was selected to have his article on Title IX published. Furthermore, Mr. Vartak worked in the Tulane Environmental Law Clinic as a student attorney protecting Louisiana’s wetlands and waterways.
Mr. Vartak entered law school with a Bachelor’s of Arts Honours in Political Science from York University in Toronto, Canada where he worked extensively with community organizations such as Habitat for Humanity and Amnesty International. Mr. Vartak has extensive international legal experience, both in the maritime field and elsewhere. Prior to joining Moore & Company, Mr. Vartak interned for Chiotelis & Co. in Piraeus, Greece and later, for the Cambodian Ministry of Culture and Fine Arts in Phnom Penh, Cambodia.
Fluent in Spanish, English and Marathi. Basic understanding of Hindi.
