Christopher R. Jaramillo
Christopher R. Jaramillo graduated from the American University Washington College of Law. There, Mr. Jaramillo was the Captain of his ABA Arbitration Competition Team and also served as a Volunteer Income Tax Assistant with the District of Columbia’s Earned Income Tax Credit (EITC) Campaign to provide high quality, no-cost tax preparation services to low-income individuals and families. After earning his Juris Doctor from American University, he moved back home to South Florida to practice law and earn his Master of Laws (LL.M.) in Taxation from the University of Miami School of law.
Mr. Jaramillo received the Brian McDermott, S.J. Scholarship to graduate cum laude from Georgetown University where he earned a Bachelor’s in Science and Business Administration, majoring in International Business. While in college, he served as the President of the Cuban American Student Association where he coordinated multiple cultural exchange programs to bring Cuban Americans around Washington, D.C. together and educate others on the politics and history of Cuba.
Prior to joining Moore & Company, Mr. Jaramillo worked as a litigation attorney representing various insurance companies in cases concerning personal injury protection coverage, slip and fall negligence, automobile negligence, collision damage, property damage, and rescission of policies due to material misrepresentations. He also prepared an order signed by a Senior Miami-Dade Judge that was published in the August 2018 edition of the Florida Law Weekly Supplement.
